VIDEO: Afgaani mees tulistas USA pealinnas kaks sõjaväelast surnuks

USA-sse 2021. aastal elama asunud Afgaani päritolu mees tulistas eile kolmapäeval 26. novembril pealinnas Washingtonis sõjaväelasi, kellest kaks surid hiljem haiglas.

Tulistamine oli Washingtoni kesklinnas Valge Maja lähedal. Pärast tulistamist Valge Maja isoleeriti. President Donald Trumpi sel ajal kohal polnud.

Tulistaja on 29-aastane Rahmanullah Lakanwal, kes sai samuti vigastada ja on ravil haiglas.

USA luureagentuur CIA juht John Ratcliffe ütles telekanalile Fox News, et tulistaja töötas Afganistanis CIA heaks.

Ratcliffe ütles, et Joe Bideni valitsus otsustas mehe USA-sse tuua. Ta lisas, et afgaane poleks tohtinud USA-sse lasta.

„Meie kodanikud ja sõjaväelased väärivad palju paremat kui Bideni administratsiooni katastroofiliste ebaõnnestumiste jätkuvate tagajärgede talumist,” sõnas ta.

Pärast tulistamist andis president Donald Trump korralduse veel 500 sõjaväelase toomiseks Washingtoni, et seal korda hoida.
